Zoom Information

A Zoom meeting is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local, desktop client and mobile app that allows users to meet online, with or without video. This can be done from your smart phone, Ipad, Android, Tablet, PC, etc. You will need to have a speaker to hear the meeting and video and audio if you want to be seen and heard. Your smartphone has all of these items. 

To sign up for your own free account – (from a computer)

1. Visit www.Zoom.us/signup and enter your email address. 
2. You will receive an email from Zoom (no-reply@zoom.us).  In this email, click Activate Account. 

To sign up for your own free account – (from your smartphone)

1. On the App Store or Google Play store, download ZOOM Cloud Meetings. 
2. Open the app. Click “Sign Up”.
3. You will receive an email from Zoom (no-reply@zoom.us). In this email, click Activate Account.

You can join a test Zoom meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom and test your microphone/speakers before joining a meeting. Visit www.Zoom.us/test and click Join to start a free test meeting up to 40 minutes.
